Job Purpose/Summary:

The Pan European Sales team at Smurfit Westrock is responsible for developing, growing and managing Smurfit Westrock’s sales with the world’s largest international companies. We are currently looking for dynamic, reliable, ambitious person with an eye for detail to join our multi-national team in the role of European Business Analyst. The European Business Analyst (EBA) works alongside the European Technical Account Manager and European Account Director to ensure a high level of customer satisfactory for our central customers and focusses on the commercial analysis, co-ordination and administration effort.

Job Responsibilities/Key accountabilities:

Coordination of contracts and agreements within defined business plans and strategiesProject Management including tenders, pricing exercises and profitability analyses across multiple countries, in a timely mannerDealing with complex business situations, delicate commercial issues between companies and countries and generating complex proposals to Pan European customersBe one of the primary contacts for European CustomersSupport in the Budget & Forecast Process for relevant customersSimulate different positions for internal & external stakeholders on a magnitude of different factorsTake responsibility for executing price reviews according to the customer contractParticipate in formulating effective customer strategiesPart take in customer meetings when necessaryCollate information from multiple countries organizing the information in a coherent way to present to internal & external stakeholders as appropriate

 

Qualifications, Knowledge, skills experience:

Experience in Sales/Finance/Business preferably with experience in FMCG / Pharma companies. Knowledge of the packaging industry would be a plusIs proficient in MS Office programs, namely excelFluent English is a must. Any other major European language would be an advantageAnalytical thinking and ability to handle complexityAbility and willingness to work in a fast-paced multinational environmentRequirement to travel when appropriate for customer meetingsGood communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a collaborative waySelf-motivated and strong willed, support and service minded
