Our team covers clients globally for European High Yield Credit products as well as Hedge funds investing across the European Credit spectrum. The European High Yield sales team is part of the broader and integrated Global Leverage Finance sales platform focusing on credit flow and alternative credit products. As a Vice President or Executive Director within the European High Yield Sales team, you will be based in our London office, covering UK/US institutional investors. You will have the unique opportunity to focus on European credit, collaborate closely with various teams, and generate innovative trade ideas. This role allows you to distinguish yourself and contribute significantly to our business.
Job Responsibilities:
Cover Hedge Funds and dedicated High Yield Asset managers focusing on European credit, with a unique exposure to Investment Grade, High Yield and macro credit product suites.Collaborate closely with trading, research, syndicate partners functions to deliver the firm to our client base.Market and distribute European High Yield new issues to investorsOperate closely with the London-based High Yield sales team and back-up accounts where needed.Self-start, generate trade ideas and source opportunities to distinguish yourself and the business from the competition.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Substantial previous credit flow sales experience covering hedge funds and leverage finance investors.Deep knowledge of the leverage finance ecosystem, mastering corporate finance fundamentals and leverage finance capital structuresDemonstrable experience and aptitude in balancing and influencing outcomes with both internal and external stakeholders’ interests.Ability to think on a strategic level and identify future opportunities for business franchise growth in partnership with trading stakeholders across flow and non flow productsFluent in EnglishAbility to grasp new concepts and products and deliver them to clients.Proactive, team player, and detail-oriented approach with appetite to mentor juniorsExcellent time management abilities and confident communication skills.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Experience in Credit products across the spectrum of cash and derivatives (eg index, options, tranches)Proven track record of client relationship management.Proficiency in a second language a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
