We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager & Estimator to lead and estimate electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure construction projects. This dual-role position requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in project management and cost estimation to ensure the successful execution of complex EV infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction planning, cost estimation, contractor coordination, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Project Management:

 

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of EV construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout. Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans while managing stakeholder expectations. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications. Oversee site management, quality control, and safety protocols to ensure regulatory and environmental compliance. Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive problem-solving and contingency planning.

 

Cost Estimation:

Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for EV infrastructure projects, including materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and scope requirements to develop precise bid proposals. Utilize industry-standard estimation tools and databases (e.g., RSMeans) to ensure reliable cost data. Track and report project cost deviations while recommending cost-saving solutions.

 

Collaboration and Communication:

 

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams. Provide clear communication on project progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders. Foster strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and permitting authorities.

 

Documentation and Reporting:

 

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including budgets, change orders, and progress reports. Generate detailed post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future project execution.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager and Estimator, with specific experience in EV infrastructure projects. Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). Strong understanding of EV infrastructure requirements, including electrical systems, chargers, and permitting processes. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Knowledge of emerging trends in EV technology and renewable energy solutions. Experience with public and private sector EV infrastructure projects. PMP or LEED certification is a plus.

Salary range starting at: $115,000 ++

Annual Incentive Bonus Plan
Base Pay is adjusted based on job-related knowledge, skills,  experience, and market location.
