Overview Performs psychosocial evaluations for all persons requesting psychiatric or substance abuse treatment. Responsible for coordination of services for inpatient partial hospital or outpatient treatment. Assures that the patient is provided the most appropriate type and level of service. Responsible for conducting all Utilization Management activity to assure proper payment for admission. Assures compliance with Florida Mental Health and Substance Abuse laws. Participation in the monthly Intake on-call pool is a mandatory. Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, and Mental Health Counseling or other related field required, and knowledge of the Florida Mental Health, Alcohol and Drug Abuse laws preferred. R.N. with three years' experience in behavioral health (mental health and/or substance abuse treatment). Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: None provided Licensure/Certification/Registration: Florida LCSW or LMHC or RN required and must be maintained.
