The Evaluation Manager will support programs with collecting data and generating insights to inform program development and implementation and to support the achievement of the Foundation’s objectives. Evaluates existing programs and those in various stages of development to identify improvements and to measure outputs and outcomes. Collects and analyzes data to develop insights for use in decision making, setting organization priorities, and to inform strategy. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department. Responsibilities Ensures discipline and adherence to best practices when embedding equity into measurement and evaluation across programs areas. Collaborates with internal teams to provide guidance on survey development, sprint test designs, logic model development, and data interpretation. Translates strategic objectives into concrete outcome metrics and targets, which include intermediary measures needed to achieve final outcomes and objectives. Provides strategic analysis across the organization to design data collection plans and evaluation plans for programs and other initiatives. Coordinates external data partner relationships to ensure consistent, standardized procedures for data collection and extraction across the organization. Advances the research and promulgation of innovations and best practices in evaluation and spearheads continuous improvement in the organization’s evaluation framework. Develops and implements evaluation training materials based on needs and interests of organization staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 8+ years of experience in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting Proven experience in managing or leading evaluation projects Skilled in mixed-method evaluations (surveys, interviews, focus groups, statistical analysis) Experience working with stakeholders at various levels (program managers, senior leadership, external) Strong communication skills for conveying complex findings to non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Proficient in evaluation tools (SPSS, R, Tableau) and familiar with non-profit programs focused on social impact AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time.
