Overview Goldbelt Professional Services (GPS) specializes in providing support and expert resources for an extensive range of Public Health missions. This includes scientific, technical, and administrative support ranging from junior staff to high-level Subject Matter Experts. We are research- and data-driven, with a team of experts ready to create solutions and customized support. Summary: GPS is looking for an Evaluator with excellent quantitative skills to support the Division of STD Prevention (DSTDP) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This role involves supporting Division staff with evaluation activities and mixed methods analysis for various initiatives. Responsibilities include developing project evaluation frameworks, writing key performance indicators to measure performance, interpreting/analyzing data to formulate evaluation questions, and translating data into actionable recommendations. This is a remote role; however, it requires flexibility for travel to attend in-person meetings in Atlanta, Georgia. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Create rapid evaluation frameworks, in conjunction with team. Collaborate with team to enhance monitoring and evaluation by improving program indicators and monitoring tools. Identify, recommend, and develop new evaluation strategies, and performance indicators and process/outcome/impact measures. Identify ways to build the capacity of recipients to collect and use monitoring and evaluation data. Assist with translating strategic information derived from evaluation findings into executive briefs, slide decks, and other data visualization formats. Support CDC staff with the planning activities related to the full implementation of program evaluation, particularly related to quantitative analysis. Develop reports, plans, and timelines for the completion of required tasks. Track progress towards completing required tasks. Communicate regular updates to management and project leads on the status of tasks/projects. Make insightful and actionable recommendations to improve processes and programs. Prepare progress reports of program evaluation activities for the performance period. Occasionally travel to attend site visits and annual meetings as required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field with at least 4 years of related experience OR a master’s degree in a related field with 2 years of related experience. Proven experience with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) concepts and practices. Experience with quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods program evaluation. Knowledge of performance monitoring questions versus evaluation questions. Excellent written and verbal communication Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Ability to successfully pass a background check. Ability to travel occasionally as required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment. Knowledge and understanding of data analysis and data visualization through standard tools. Familiarity or experience with data visualization or statistical software/programs. (RedCap, SalesForce, Advanced Excel, PowerBI, R) The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 annually.
