POSITION: SHIPPING-FORKLIFT OPERATOR

SHIFT: EVENING 3PM-11PM

REPORT TO: SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must make sure that trailers are loaded properlyVerify that trailer wheels are chockedMust be able to operate a pallet jackMust help keep area around dock cleanMust be able to use a scan gunMust be able to work in cold temperaturesMust be willing to work a 35 hour week

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Above average safety and attendance recordGood communication and planning skills; legible handwritingAbility to follow written and oral instructionsMust be able to work at a safe rate with minimal supervisionMust be able to work different shifts based on department needs.Must be forklift certifiedOther duties will be assigned by supervisorShipping yard truck driver will be a required training
