Event Administrative Assistant (Part-time)

This position is responsible for assisting with administrative support related to events facilitated by the Office of Strategic Venues & Event Services by preparing and maintaining event needs including but not limited to event estimates, event drawings, vendor schedules and invoices.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Assist the Event Management team to advance internal events and procure applicable event details, facilitate tours as needed, and communicate event needs to OSVES staff and University campus partners.Prepare internal client event estimates for review by designated Event Managers. Administrative support and data entry for Front of the House staffing for strategic venue events on campus, including, but not limited to: house managers, ushers, vendor ushers, emergency medical services, security, and housekeeping. Serve as event support for campus events as assigned.Administrative support and data entry for client account and database. Assist with maintaining accurate billing information and obtaining vendor invoices for each assigned event. Maintain healthy and productive relationships with campus partners who regularly facilitate events within OSVES venues and/or need OSVES services. Assist and support the Office of Strategic Venues & Event Services in the development and distribution of materials relative to hiring and training student workers. Assist in the development and distribution of materials relative to coordination, execution, sales, or operations for internal campus events.
