Event Coordinator

The Event Coordinator is a key member of the indoor pavilion event team and is directly responsible for performing the daily setup, execution and breakdown of all event functions. The Event Coordinator will apply all of their experience and knowledge to provide outstanding service to permit holders and guests.

Key Responsibilities of the Event Coordinator: • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service
• Adhere to safety and alcoholic beverage control policies
• Keep tables, event rooms and supply station(s) clean and organized
• Listen and respond to guest needs
• Coordinate traffic flow and parking regulations as marked
• Provide tours, brochures and information to all potential clients
• Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory control levels
• Perform clean‐up and closing procedures as assigned by manager
• Set‐up and breakdown of tables, chairs, event areas, and related activities in an accurate and timely manner
• Carry out cleaning tasks prior & post event of rooms and common areas to include kitchens, hallways and bathrooms.
• Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests and following up with the host at the end of event.
• Perform other duties as assigned   Minimum Requirements:

• Must be efficient and detail‐oriented
• Well‐developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be dependable

Working Conditions:
• Physical activity including long periods(6‐8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and, scooping.
• The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands
• The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 30lbs.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Noise level is typically moderate
• Work extended hours during season
• Work weekends and holidays

Working Conditions:
