The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a seasonal Event Coordinator to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. In this role, you will partner with clients, guests, and our food and beverage teams to create and execute events for our guests at Nova Guides. You will also work closely with the Human Resources team at Nova Guides to ensure associates participate in the necessary training and development that helps them to be successful in their roles.

What will you do? Assist food and beverage associates with catering for events and ensure the highest quality of product and service is provided. This is a driving position; the successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Coordinate with operations managers to organize the banquet, kitchen, and service associates for each event. Prepare order forms, invoices, contracts, and other necessary documents for each event. Process client deposits and assist them with reserving bedrooms at the property. Participate in creating and implementing orientation and training programs for associates at the property. Maintain all training records, including orientation schedules and attendance sheets. Submit reports on training activities to property managers. More about you Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel. This is a driving position; the successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail. Shift details
