Fooda is currently recruiting for a full time Event Coordinator in our San Mateo market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) serve as back-up cashier at Fooda Cafés for team members who have time off, and 3.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations proceduresProblem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boardsConduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coachingProvide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumerFacilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high qualityEscalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solveCritical hours are over lunch Monday - Friday (10 am – 2 pm) but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and needWho You Are:
