Event Finance Assistant

Position Summary:

This position will facilitate all money needs and transactions while adhering to company policies to ensure efficient sales reporting.

Essential Duties:

Controls and records all transactions processed at point-of-sale cashiers.Plans and monitors event requirements.Prepares and receives change orders.Assists F&B personnel with the closing of eventsPrepare settlement to all point of sales cashiers.Prepares event closing reports.Report to Accounting Manager needs and discrepancies of transactions.Establish and maintain positive client relationships.Constant reaching, standing, walking and stooping.Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Strong written, read and verbal communication skills both in English and SpanishMust have attention to detail.Must have ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide.Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.Must have strong interpersonal & organizational skills.Must be able to pass a background check to include a credit history report and meet corporate minimum requirements.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GEDOne year of customer service experience preferredOne year of cash handling experience preferred

Computer Skills

Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookDemonstrated ability to learn new software programs

Rate

$10.50 per hour.
