Overview:
The NetSuite Global Events Team is made up of results driven marketers who deliver world-class experiences. We are looking for an event financial manager who will support the team by facilitating and executing our budgeting and contracting processes for our in-person and virtual programs for the NetSuite Global Business Unit, including our global user conference.
This includes, but is not limited to, vendor management, budgeting and purchase requisition management, contract oversight, invoice reconciliation and execution, and compliance adherence. The core objective for this role is to support a team of colleagues by lifting the financial administrative pieces from their workload in order to execute programs that will drive new pipeline and progress existing pipeline.
Responsibilities:
Manage full financial life cycle of event from creating a purchase requisition through post-event reconciliations Oversee vendor management and liaise with vendors on any questions or needs Ensure that all contracts and POs are processed for events in accordance with Oracle policies Support managing event budgets and find opportunities for cost savings Communicate with finance team by keeping financial trackers and spend details up to date Work cross-functionally across organization
Skills:
BS/BA or equivalent 2+ years of experience supporting budgets for event programs, including large-scale user conferences Proven track record of financial management Strong analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Comfortable presenting to and communicating with executive leadership Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint Ability to travel to events as required including occasional evenings and weekends
