Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Event Manager to join the leadership team in our NEW Glendale, AZ location opening in early 2025!
POSITION SUMMARY
The Event Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games facility and team members on a daily basis including staffing, scheduling & training of hourly staff, cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, staff motivation, safety and security.
The Events Manager will take ownership of the department as well as run unit operations and work to create an environment that encourages ownership and accountability by Team Members.

Required:Eligible to work in the United StatesAt least 18 years of ageStrong written & verbal communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust have a valid Driver's LicenseStrong organizational skillsThe desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workdayWork varying days, nights, holidays and weekendsMinimum of two years of event management experiencePreferred and great to have:Five years of restaurant or FEC management in a high-volume environment centerProven leadership and team skills; ability to motivate and manage all levels of staffStrong training and development backgroundWorking knowledge of cost controlsStrong training and development backgroundPhysical Requirements
