What will I be doing?
\n\nAs an Event Manager you would be responsible for executing written sales agreements for moderately-sized and moderately-complex events, and the successful execution of such events in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\n\tExecute written sales agreements for moderately-sized and moderately-complex events, 300 cumulative room nights\n\tNegotiate terms and pricing of vendor partner agreements and service agreements with companies and organizations affiliated with group business\n\tMaintain relationships among the customers, their representatives and the hotel to ensure full participation in servicing accounts\n\tInitiate verbal and written communication with customers and hotel departments outlining details and specifics of the event including, but not limited to, payment structure, room block management, food and beverage, public room rental, exhibit hall fees, incremental and affiliate revenue streams, performance damages and master billing process\n\tPartner with operations departments\n\tIn addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.\n\tDirectly assists customers as necessary, which may require moving of up to 20lbs\n\tPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required\nWhat are we looking for?
