Event Marketing Manager, UK, Ads Marketing

The Regional Enterprise Marketing team at Amazon Ads partners with global marketing and regional business teams to deliver brand initiatives that engage and delight our international customers.

We are seeking a creative, self-directed, data-driven event marketing manager to plan and manage the execution of Amazon Ads first and third-party events in the UK. Primary outputs for this role include creating uniquely-Amazon event experiences that drive awareness, brand familiarity, and consideration amongst our advertiser and agency audiences. This role contributes to the regional event roadmap and will own the end-to-end event production process, including budgeting, external vendor management, on-site creative branding and logistics, communications, event tech, measurement, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has experience executing B2B events in the UK, and is willing to dedicate the same level of creativity and excellence to all events, regardless of size and complexity. They will enjoy owning the entire event management process from inception to completion and will seek to create repeatable processes that enable scale across the wider team. This is a fast-moving role, requiring strong project management, prioritization and communication skills. Day-to-day activities will change constantly as our business grows, and so being flexible and comfortable with ambiguity will be required for success. The ideal candidate is able to conduct themselves autonomously, successfully manage a demanding project pipeline, and effectively communicate and foster strong relationships across sales and marketing teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Work with the UK Enterprise Marketing Lead and Sr. Event Marketing Manager to develop event strategies that achieve business and team goals
- Influence and collaborate with key stakeholders in marketing and sales on event plans, including first (Amazon-owned), and third-party industry events
- Own the end-to-end planning and execution of events, including; budgeting, external vendor management, branding and creative, on-site logistics, communications, event tech, measurement, and reporting.
- Manage event production agencies and third-party vendors to ensure bar-raising execution
- Build processes for repeatability and scalability of event activities
- Think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to events that improve the customer experience
- Drive and deliver event activation and recap documents and contribute to cadenced business reporting and narratives

The Regional Enterprise Marketing team exists to accelerate adoption of Amazon Ads’ full-funnel solutions by engaging enterprise brand customers and large agency partners across international locales.
