\nAs an Event Planner, you will plan all the final details for the Meetings and Events taking place within the hotel, ranging from corporate meetings of 50, to large gala dinners for 300 guests. You will liaise with the client until the event takes place, ensuring all their requests are arranged, and giving advice where necessary.
\n· Work with the client, to understand their needs, and offer the best operational solutions
\n· Using Delphi, create an accurate BEO, capturing all the client’s requirements
\n· Ensure the operational team are fully aware of the schedule for all events
\n· Focus on a consistently executed up-selling approach
\n· Build strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs and ensure repeat business
\n· Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds and menu tastings
\n· Ensure the complete administration and execution of all planned events
\n\n
What are we looking for?
\nAn Event Planner serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n· Good organisational and administration skills
\n· Positive attitude and good communication skills
\n· Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
\n· Confident telephone manner
\n· High level of IT skills
\n· Excellent grooming standards
\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n· Demonstrated previous experience working in the Conference & Events function
\n· Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
