Event Specialist, GTM Excellence, APLA
As the APLA GTM Excellence Events Specialist your mission will be to deliver a premium retailer experience and internal APLA Nike Sales (MPU) experience of seasonal on-body product throughout the Nike Code operating calendar. This includes but not limited to: casting/scouting, booking, dressing and managing model talent for men, women and kids, specifically for use in showcasing Nike footwear, Apparel & Equipment at the highest level for both our retailers and internal sales (MPU) teams at virtual and live presentations during key Code gates. This is inclusive of seasonal GTM gates (GGP/CMP/SKO/SPA/ Gametime) openings, T2T events, Partner account meetings and Field of Play content creation. **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR** A self starting, motivated teammate that is able to engage cross functionally with key stakeholders to align and deliver Nike premium retailer and internal (MPU)experiences aligned with the APLA marketplace strategy. **WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON** **Support seasonal event execution through cross functional logistics planning.** + Ensure that our Nike & APLA cross functional teams have consistent support to elevate events. + Manage model/talent castings before each seasonal gate locally (WHQ), and in key cities as needed + Book talent based on product fit and style to align with category’s/account’s vision to showcase Nike Apparel at the highest level + Book and manage any additional resources needed for events and live presentations. + Source and prep product for live presentations. **Seasonal event project management for key code gates (CMP, SKO, SPA & Gametime)** + Create and deliver a visionary storytelling experiences for our internal and external partners + Manage vendor schedules for events and live presentations + Align agendas and room scheduling for corporate meeting space + Align with sales presenters for specific asks and individual account/category schedules **Enable effective seasonal operating model and key vendor relationships for content creation.** + Manage and approve agency and vendor billing/invoices + Manage talent schedules for photoshoots and collaborate with digital team for premium talent + Manage & maintain agency relationships in multiple cities to assure talent needs are met + Maintain relationship with Global and Geo Counterparts to maintain alignment and effeciencies between teams. **Other Responsibilities:** + Assisting and partnering with GTM team at events with miscellaneous tasks and projects when time allows. + Managing APLA talent for Events outside of the Sales function as needed and time allows. **WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH** You will be working with APLA Geo cross functional teammates in Merchandising and Operations, Marketing, and Marketplace to elevate our seasonal process. In addition you will be engaging with our Global Partner Go To Consumer teammates to ensure key deliverables and timelines are hit that enable our MPU teams to operate efficiently and effectively to give a premium seasonal Partner Experience for sell-in and sell-through. **WHAT YOU BRING** **Education and Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or closely related discipline + 2+ years’ experience in related marketing industry + Knowledge of athletic industry and trends in the marketplace with an understanding of the competitive marketplace + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Pro-active, excellent organizational skills + Can operate autonomously + Excellent team spirit **Technical / Functional Skills** + Project Management Tools: Microsoft Office, AirTable/SmartSheet, Miro + Creative Production/Development Tools: Adobe Suite, Keynote + Communication Tools: Campaign Monitor + Keynote/PowerPoint deck editing experience preferred + System knowledge – SAP, Coupa + A self-starter mentality and be eager to drive and own end to end initiatives with results driven, forward thinking and proficient information seeking skills in a fast-paced environment. **Additional Requirements** + Possess strong written and oral communication skills. + Demonstrated attention to detail, process excellence, and high-quality project/task delivery. + Ability to align cross-cultural and/or cross-functional teams, virtually and in-person. + Must be a self-starter, thrives working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and flexible.
