The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Events Specialist to join our team in Auckland.
This is a 6-month fixed-term position supporting the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications and the wider team.This newly created role involves managing a variety of internal and external events from planning through to delivery.Your new roleAs the Events Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and delivering events that align with business objectives. You’ll manage logistics, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and ensure events are executed efficiently and effectively. Key responsibilities include:
Develop and implement event plans that align with organisational goals.Design event formats and themes that meet business needs.Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.Manage logistics including venue selection, scheduling, and coordination of event teams.Maintain relationships with vendors and industry contacts to stay informed of best practices.Monitor budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective delivery.More information and the full job profile will be shared with shortlisted applicants during the interview process.
About youYou’ll bring relevant experience in event management and a practical approach to planning and execution. You are organised, adaptable, and able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You’ll also bring:
