This is a remote FL position that will cover the Florida market.

As an Event Specialist, you will coordinate and manage events and community activities for the Cleveland Clinic Florida Region, specifically Weston, Stuart, Indian River and Vero Beach. Your work will focus on developing, managing and implementing various programs while maintaining budgets and timelines. You will participate in vendor negotiations, registrations and providing timely updates and briefings to constituencies. Additionally, this position allows you to hon your skills and gain valuable experience with high-level fundraising events.  

A caregiver in this position works various days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This is a hybrid position, qualified applicants must live in Florida and able to commute to various Cleveland Clinic locations.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Demonstrate compliance with licensing, regulatory and accrediting agency provisions as required. Consistently demonstrate appropriate and professional communication behavior toward patients, customers, vendors and coworkers.  Cooperate with management and peers to promote an environment of teamwork and collaboration. Attend and coordinate all details and logistics of events, community activities and marketing programs. Develop and maintain master health system calendar of events, community activities and marketing programs. Secure physicians, speakers and/or presenters and coordinate service line participation and manpower for events, community activities and marketing programs. Coordinate production of promotional and collateral materials for events, community activities and marketing programs and arrange aspects of presentations where applicable. Conduct analysis of participation, develop and maintain database of participants, and utilize database in targeted marketing efforts. Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops when approved by Regional Director. Provide a recap and debrief of all events to the Events Manager and Regional Director. Work some nights, weekends and holidays as needed. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor’s Degree In-depth knowledge of various aspects of events Florida Valid Driver’s License (VDL)  Three to five years of events and coordination experience Experience managing nonprofit fundraising events.Effective scheduling and management of tasksWritten/verbal communication, teamwork/motivational and organizational/multitasking skills
