About the Role RX Global is seeking an entrepreneurial minded Event Vice President to lead the strategy, planning, execution and overall management of the Vision Expos. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully orchestrating large-scale events. Possessing exceptional relationship management skills and a creative mindset are keys to enhancing attendee engagement and driving event growth and impact within the industry. Responsibilities + Developing and executing a comprehensive strategic plan to ensure an excellent customer experience and event growth in alignment with goals. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams and event partners to define event objective and key strategies. + Overseeing all aspects of event planning, from concept development and P&L management to logistics coordination and post-event evaluation. + Developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising the quality and impact of the event. + Building and maintain excellent relationships with event and industry partners to enhance their participation and investment in event. + Collaborating with attendee and exhibitor steering committees and advisory boards to ensure event transforms and grows with the industry. + Identifying and cultivating new industry relationships to drive value and growth for event. Requirements + Have proven experience planning and executing events, in a leadership role. + Possess excellent project and budget management skills with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholders. + Demonstrate outstanding leadership skills with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment + Have a creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering magical event experiences. + Possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. + Be able to work under pressure, solve problems on the spot, and adapt to changing circumstances + Be flexible to travel and work non-traditional hours as required by event schedules.
