The Events Co-ordinator coordinates negotiation processes, Letters of Agreement, secretarial backup, hotel inspections or any other specific projects as assigned, under the general guidance and supervision of the Groups, Meetings & Events  Manager.

What will I be doing? 

\n

As the Events Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nManage incoming calls and correspondence for the Banquet Sales teams.\nAssist managers with document preparation, filing, and distribution.\nMaintain organized filing systems and ensure office tidiness and sufficient stock of supplies.\nStay informed about event details and assist with inter-departmental coordination.\nUnderstand and manage client relationships for designated managers.\nHandle enquiries and guests’ requests independently, providing initial suggestions and coordinating with relevant departments.\nUpdate group charts, prepare reports, and conduct site inspections as needed.\nSend post-event critique forms and thank you letters.\nSupport ad-hoc projects and maintain professionalism and hospitality standards.\nAdhere to hotel hygiene and food safety procedures.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nThe Management reserves the right to make changes to this job description at its sole discretion and without advance notice. \n

What are we looking for?

An Events Co-ordinator serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

\n\nUniversity graduate.\nAt least 1 year of experience in a similar role with international chain hotels.\nExcellent written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.\nEffective team player.\nAbility to work under pressure and handle stressful situations during busy periods.\nVery familiar with the local market and good at marketing trend analysis. \n\n
