Join Events & Experiences team! We are seeking an Events Coordinator, who will partner with internal colleagues, external collaborators, and vendors to plan and implement a variety of events for our community of Catalysts and partners. This opportunity is designed for professionals with 3+ years of event planning experience. The is comprised of non-profit leaders from around the country who are transforming communities and breaking barriers that prevent people from thriving. As Stand Together Foundation grows its movement to see , the Events & Experience team will also support events related to additional strategies and collaborations.
Your Responsibilities Include Contributing to the success of Catalyst and Stand Together Foundation events through planning logistics and providing on-site support. Owning the planning and implementation of select events from start to finish, including stakeholder coordination, budget development, registration, venue selection, vendor management, etc.Partnering with colleagues to help develop the objectives of the event, and ensuring they connect to the larger goals of the strategy and organizationDeveloping an understanding of industry best practices and supporting the continual improvement of our event processes Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization3+ years of experience in event planningSuperior level of attention to detail and organizational skill. Strong customer focus, and an ability to anticipate customer needs. Self-starter who can jump into projects with a can-do attitude, and see them through to completion. Ability to connect the dots between organizational vision and event objectives, and use that knowledge to inform decisions. Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, while communicating clearly and consistently with multiple. stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Professionalism, openness to change and new ideas, and humility.Ability to travel approximately 10-15%.Ability to work on-site in Arlington, VA (this is not a hybrid role).Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.What We OfferA meaningful career where your work will improve the lives of millions of people in America.Competitive compensation and bonuses.
