Events Coordinator

SUMMARY

Plans and coordinates events, and provides exceptional service and experiences to all members, guests and coworkers by planning, coordinating and communicating event details effectively, efficiently and in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with members, guests, potential clients, departments and independently in planning, coordinating and executing all definite events Properly schedule use of facilities and banquet spaces. Produce banquet event orders for all events. Work with social or group contact, Chef and Restaurant Manager to deliver F&B needs.
On the day of the event, greet contact and oversee execution of the event. guest. Develops and maintains files for all events including items such as contracts, banquet event orders, purchase orders, check requests, expenses, brochures, promotional material, etc. Seasonally, when social and group events are fewer, may be required to assist in the Operations while planning for future events. Tracks revenue/expenses for all events. Quotes prices and compiles all charges for the Accounting department. Uphold the standards, expectations and service quality for all events set. Maintain a clean and neat work environment. Able to effectively handle multiple tasks. Regular and reliable attendance. Maintains a professional standard at Pronghorn including, but not limited to, appearance, interaction with members, associates, guests of the club, verbal discussions and written correspondence. Does not discuss work related issues with members and resort guests. Supports and adheres to the CORE Values, the Mission Statement, and Guest Service Philosophy as defined by the Company. Maintains a positive attitude and the flexibility to take on new and different tasks as assigned by the Events Manager. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions A high school degree required with some college training preferred One year similar experience and/or training or an equivalent of hands-on training in a restaurant or Hotel/restaurant management.
