Job Description The B2B Events Expert reports directly and works closely with the Campaign and Events Manager. This position is responsible for for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of corporate events - conferences, exhibitions, product launches, sports events, and more as part of the over-all Go-To-Market plans and strategy. The B2B Events Expert will also handle coordination with internal stakeholders, agencies, and third-party vendors necessary to ensure project deliverables.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the CEM Manager and Marketing Managers to map out the tasks needed to implement the project and reach objectives.
Assist Marketing Managers to ensure that all the events executions are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Coordinate with internal clients, and vendors to establish the requirements for an event throughout the planning process.
Locate resources, visit sites, and lead pre-event meetings to make decisions about the event design.
Plan and facilitate the overall event production design and logistics, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, and marketing materials.
Oversee client experiences from conception through post-event review; manage on-site preparations and production. Ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all phases
Build and maintain a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors, and venues
Troubleshoot any issues that arise on event day.
REQUIREMENTS:
At least 3-5 years relevant experience in corporate events and marketing.
Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large, complex projects/events with diverse stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to travel to event locations as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Skills:
Project Management: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail. Experience with virtual and hybrid events.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making skills to address unexpected issues during events.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software (e.g., Zoom) Knowledge of social media platforms and marketing tools is a plus.
Creativity: Ability to create unique, engaging, and memorable event experiences.
