About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Events Sales Lead to drive revenue growth by securing and managing event bookings. The ideal candidate will be a passionate sales professional with a proven track record in the events industry.
You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and exceeding sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the events landscape.
Sales & Business Development:
Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads through various channels,
including cold calling, networking, and online research.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement
of sales targets.
Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their event requirements
and propose tailored solutions.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market
opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and
beyond.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Gather client feedback and use it to improve services and processes.
Event Planning & Coordination (Sales Focused):
Collaborate with community / operations teams to ensure seamless event
execution.
Provide accurate and detailed event information to internal teams.
Assist in the development of event pricing strategies.
Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within the
CRM system.
Reporting & Analysis:
Track and report on sales performance, including key metrics and KPIs.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management.
Contribute to sales forecasting.
About You
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).
Proficiency in English (B2, C1)
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in event sales or a related field.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the events industry and market trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in Salesforce software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Ability to work on weekends as needed.
