The Events Manager at Hilton Toronto provides support and direction to the Events Department, having responsibility for ensuring the maximization of all Banquet revenue and maintaining high standards of service for our guests.

What will I be doing?
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\n\nCreate and distribute all details of bookings in the form of BEO and other reports in a timely and organized fashion to appropriate departments to facilitate efficient planning, purchasing and scheduling
\n\nEnsure any missing details are addressed with the client before the event\n\nProvide sales support for team members at closing of potential business
\n\n\nLiaise with other department team members to communicate information and ensure customer satisfaction and hotel profitability
\n\n\nDevelop individual monthly production reports and monitor results
\n\n\nInspect function rooms and welcome clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat clientele.
\n\n\nPrepare and customize proposals to meeting client's needs and hotel’s guidelines of profitability.
\n\n\nAttend client set up and/or special events to ensure smooth running and introduce client to Banquets/Operations.
\n\n\nTrack Events productivity report on a weekly basis
\n\n\nAnalyze banquet revenues daily to ensure revenue goals are met
\n\n\nConduct site inspections with clients, showing rooms, meeting space, food and beverage and recreation facilities
\n\n\nProvide written and verbal communication to clients regarding the management of their account
\n\n\nOther duties as assigned by management

\n\nMinimum 1 year of experience in a similar role with a proven track record\n\nPositive attitude and effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

\n\n\nExcellent grooming standards
\n\n\nStrong leadership, organizational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
\n\n\nStrong analytical skills so to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
