What will I be doing?

\n

As Group, Conference & Events Planning Executive you will be responsible for the successful event planning and overall execution of all Conference & Events that take place within the hotel. The GC&E Events Planner will interact frequently with customers and Guests to learn about their needs and develop relationships from which to earn repeat and expanded business.

\n\nAssist clients in planning their events to an excellent standard\nResponsible for communicating with clients on a daily basis with any queries and anticipating their needs. Providing guidance and expertise on services to enhance the guest experience. \nBuild strong relationships with customers to fully understand and materialise their needs\nWorking with the GC&E Sales team and the Operational teams to ensure seamless communication from start to finish of the client’s event\nContinuously updating the system with all booking details and communication activities\nEnjoy working as part of a sociable team\nWork independently, take ownership and drive own bookings\n Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds and client meetings\nHandling the complete enquiry and planning process from start to finish including receiving and customising proposals\n\n

What are we looking for?

\n\n Excellent organisational and administration skills\nPositive attitude and good communication skills\nCommitment to delivering a high level of customer service\n Confident telephone manner\n Strong level of IT skills including ability to learn different computer systems\n Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office\n Excellent grooming standards\nDemonstrated previous experience working in an event planning environment\nStrong attention to detail\nResilience and ability to thrive even in high pressure situations\n\n
