Events Purchasing and Logistics Officer

Strategic Purchasing & Logistics Officer oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and high-quality. Additionally, should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with the company's standard.


Strategic Purchasing & Logistics Officer will also lead and manage all aspects of post-booking stage of event planning and execution. This includes coordinating all events with partner supplier/vendor/3rd party agency related services including event management, logistic operations, set-up, equipment service, and production logistics.

Responsibilities:

Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies Creating purchasing orders and procuring company goods and services based on the approved budget Assist in planning and executing event-related expenses and budgets. Maintain and develop relationships with event support vendors/suppliers and rental houses that provide services for event-related activities. Researching and communicating with potential vendors and suppliers to find the best goods and services for the company Monitoring Records and updating internal databases with order details (vendors, services, contact, terms etc.) Reviews Service contracts prior Service Provider agreement and awarding. Ensure that all purchasing requests are processed and served as scheduled. Ensure that all deliveries are with Received status All other tasks that may be assigned by the Management depending on the exigencies of the organization.

Order processing Vendor Sourcing Contract negotiations Canvassing and obtaining quotations Receipt and quality inspection of all purchases Supplier performance assessments and evaluations
