Theseallow for the unique experience that you can only getat this resort. **Hourly Rate** **:** $19.02 **Position Overview:** The Events Setup Lead is responsible for working alongside with the Events Setup team to set up and break down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, as well as the oversight of co-workers. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight. Other duties include oversight of the general banquet room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. **Job** **Functions & Responsibilities** **:** + Responsible for leading the banquet event setup house person employees and provide day to day instructions and assignments. Monitor performance and recommend corrective action + Responsible for inspecting and maintaining set-ups for cleanliness and accuracy to ensure that all of the guest needs are met and exceeded + Responsible for the set-up and/or break down tables, chairs, and platforms/stages, skirting, table tops and other equipment as specified by group requirements. + Responsible for room refreshes during breaks (replenish supplies, water pitchers, glasses, etc.) + Responsible for reporting any issues or concerns, and monitoring the upkeep of the meeting spaces, storage area, back of house, and equipment. This will include developing cleaning and repair process for tables, chairs, linens, platforms/stages, etc. + Report all damages or issues to the Director of Banquets and Banquet Manager + Responsible for ensuring clean linen and skirting are stocked in storage areas + Responsible for leading the Event Setup team + Responsible for following all rules and regulations set forth by the Banquets Department as well as the Hyatt Employee handbook **Qualifications:** + Must have basic computer skills to read and write emails + Must be able to read and understand the details on a room diagram + Ability to lift and carry objects.
