Overview
The goal of the events department is to support local, national and international competitions that promote strength and conditioning. Our purpose is to help expand the visibility of the Rogue brand in the market place as well as help to grow interest in all the various disciplines.
Whatever level of involvement Rogue has in each specific event, our work needs to exceed the high expectations of the strength community and uphold the standards that Rogue has established within our industry.
Level 1 team members contribute to this goal by executing the responsibilities detailed below:
Responsibilities:
Understanding and executing correct picking, QCing, packing standards for outgoing domestic and international FLT, Freight, Parcel, Ocean Freight, Air Freight shipments.
Understanding and executing correct receiving, returning/locating and cleaning standards for all returning event equipment.
Understanding and executing correct inventory management standards for all events equipment in the warehouse
Working overtime as needed based on workload for the time period. Early mornings, late nights, long hours or weekend work.
Operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, turret trucks, scissor lifts to retrieve, move materials, inventory, load/unload trucks, flatbed trucks, containers etc.
Able to build a tool kit and use of tools (wrenches/hammer/power tools/powered equipment) to build/disassemble product and rigs.
Using correct RF scanners for picking and inventory moves
Maintaining the Rogue non-negotiable standards regarding cleaning and housekeeping in work areas.
Critical thinking when performing duties and tasks in order to spot problems and take corrective action. An example being the ability to recognize if a piece of equipment is damage or not in condition to be sent out to an event
Ability to recognize when a process is not being followed and take corrective action to uphold all standards
Perform systematic inventory cycle counts as needed

Ability to:
Contribute at a high level in a small, highly visible team environment (aka carry their own weight)
Quickly work through task hit lists to make deadlines
Work in high stress situations where tasks need accomplished quickly at that moment and have firm deadlines
Work long days during/around major events when needed. The day is over when the job is done. Not vice versa
Effectively work alongside co-workers from all levels of the company. Yellow shirts through Directors
Represent Rogue outside of HQ/Columbus with the highest integrity
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Foundation in superior safety and quality practices.
Availability and willingness to travel to CrossFit Games, Rogue Invitational and other potential events/initials as needed
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and carry up to 80 feet
Team Members will be required to operate a manual/powered pallet jack, forklifts, lift product or related equipment
Willingness to ask questions, give feedback, be solution oriented, help teammates as needed/when needed.
Attitude and Personality:
- Eager to accomplish tasks and cross items off the hitlist
- Staying positive during stressful and fast paced times
- Eager to help the teammates move projects forward and succeed
Preferred:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, assembly experience
- Experienced with hand tools and proper application/use
