Title: eVinci Installation Manager
General Job Function:
Lead the development and execution of the site installation plans for an eVinci microreactor deployment. Provide the on-site oversight of the construction partner that has been contracted for the site construction activities.
Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):
Supervise all WEC technicians at the customer installation site. Oversee the daily activities of installation teams. Ensure that all work is performed according to safety standards and regulations.
Develop and implement detailed installation plans and requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
Provide the WEC oversight of the site construction activities.
Function as the main point of contact between the eVinci business unit and the various Westinghouse organizations that will be delivering material/components to the installation site.
Work with site quality assurance to ensure and compliance with the Westinghouse QMS and Level 2 Procedures. Develop and implement Level 3 Procedures as needed. Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements.
Monitor the quality of installation work to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the environment. Conduct safety training for WEC personnel operating at the installation site.
Manage the allocation of materials, tools, and equipment. Ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Recommend, resolve, implement and communicate solutions to problems throughout the site. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process.
Maintain accurate records of installation activities. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
Liaise with customers, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Train and mentor installation team members. Promote continuous improvement and professional development.
Oversee and drive utilization of trending, COPQ, and other performance data and trends to identify areas for improvement with regards to the installation processes.
