SUMMARY OF JOB The Executive Vice President of the Healthcare Division is accountable for the planning, directing, and managing of the current operations, future growth and program development for the healthcare division while ensuring responsible use of fiscal, human and physical resources. Healthcare division includes Holy Redeemer Hospital and Hospital based Physician Services. In conjunction with the CEO, the EVP will develop goals and objectives for the division using Redeemer Health’s Mission, Values, Culture and Charism as a guiding resource. The EVP is critical to relationships between the physicians/providers, leadership, staff and the community. This individual is responsible for ensuring that HCD delivers high quality, cost effective care. The EVP ensures that the services provided are responsive to our communities’ health needs and integral to the achievement of Redeemer Health’s mission and values. EVP will have a strong working knowledge of federal healthcare legislation, laws, regulations and guidelines as required. Demonstrated success in integrating the needs and goals of the organization, the Medical Staff, employees, philanthropists, and our communities. A broad background in the industry to allow the executive to act as a resource and adviser to leaders and medical staff in matters pertaining to healthcare. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare field. Masters/ MBA strongly preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience working as a Hospital Executive is required.
