Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our healthcare team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of inpatient and outpatient rooms in accordance with hospital standards and infection control policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong physical stamina, time management, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect patient rooms, exam rooms, restrooms, and common areas in inpatient and outpatient settings.Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, medical equipment, and high-touch areas.Properly handle and transport soiled and clean linens, including lifting and carrying linen bags up to 50 pounds.Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and sanitizing solutions as needed.Adhere strictly to all company policies, hospital protocols, and infection prevention guidelines.Complete assigned tasks with attention to detail, efficiency, and productivity within designated timeframes.Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed supplies to the supervisor promptly.Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carts safely and effectively.Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to ensure patient comfort and room readiness.Maintain a respectful and compassionate attitude toward patients, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous cleaning or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs consistently throughout shift.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also function effectively in a team environment.Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions precisely.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.Must be able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies.
