 About the role:  

 

For our EVSE integration team in the Cloud Business Unit we seek experienced IOT/ Cloud SW Technical Leader who will be able to work across multiple products to lead effective product architecture and development

Hands-on in various technologies, Mentor team of Engineers, on day-to-day duties as well as work with leadership team on strategic initiatives

Provide hands-on technical expertise to design, engineer, deploy, and deliver including driving improvements in technical architecture, standards, and processes.

Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Program Management and Professional Services to ensure required technology upgrades/migrations/ and builds are well understood and planned into roadmaps.

What you will be doing:

Strong experience with best-in-class software engineering practicesGood programming knowledge of BackendPolyglot programmer with any combo of Java + Spring Boot, JavaScript + Node, PythonAdept in multiple databases including SQL + NoSQL (Mongo / Cassandra DB / DynamoDB)Good knowledge of web technologies, design patterns and architecture principles.Familiarity with Frontend development, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX designFamiliar with HA/DR, scalability, performance, code optimizationsExperience with working with highly performance and throughput systemsAbility to define, track and deliver items to one’s own schedule.Good organizational skills and the ability to work on more than one project at a time.Exceptional attention to detail and good communication skills

Who you are and what you bring:

 

B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering6+ years of solid software development experienceExtensive knowledge of at least 1 cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)IOT Based product functionality knowledge.Good knowledge and experience with Agile, TDD or BDD methodologiesExcellent knowledge of software and application design and architectureUnderstanding of software quality assurance and security principlesA technical mindset with great attention to detailAbility to collaborate and work across team, functions, and geographies.Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Bitbucket etc.Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX designExposure or knowledge in Renewable Tech companiesFamiliarity with working with any embedded or telecom or hardware product is desirable.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with IoT based systems preferred.
