EWP National Accounts Director

Responsibilities:

The EWP National Accounts Director is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to the EWP national accounts team and driving profitable business with national account customers. Prepare and execute sales and marketing strategy with national account customer base consistent with division financial and strategic objectives. Manage the negotiation and implementation of division programs for national account customer base. Build and strengthen working relationship with BMD and Independent Distributors. Represent and model Boise Cascade values.

Position will work closely with the broader EWP organization (Field Sales, BC Software, BC Processing Systems, EWP Marketing, Customer Service) in support of the National Accounts. 

Significant travel may be required. The initial location for this position is flexible, Boise, ID preferred, but geographical flexibility will be required as the selected individual competes for future leadership positions.

Basic Qualifications:

Degree required in related field. Minimum 5 - 8 years of demonstrated sales and marketing experience with previous national accounts exposure. Excellent communication skills, including strong executive level communication and presentation skills. Experience in engineered wood products and/or related wood product sales into residential construction markets. Strong Customer Service orientation and track record. Strong Analytical skills. Ability and desire to lead and develop a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA with 10 years of experience in related job function.
