HOURLY PART TIME ROLES!
UTHealth Houston is looking for test proctors, and these individuals will only work a couple of days a week typically. The role includes making sure students comply with testing rules, and do not pull out materials or copy work from others. The proctor will also clean white boards once the testing session is over. You can expect to work five-ten hours per week doing shifts that last four or five hours a day. These shifts will be during normal business hours between 7am and 5pm. Pay is calculated at $15 an hour. This is a perfect job for someone wanting to supplement their fulltime position, or do something that simply asks them to work one or two days a week.

Position Key Accountabilities:
Administers, proctors, and grades examinations. Contacts faculty members concerning test content or printing schedules frequently. Communicates with supervisors regarding problems or unusual circumstances. Supervises the work of a less experienced Exam Room Proctor, and provides guidance and motivation to ensure a timely workflow. Generate various tests and versions. Runs Scantron machine to electronically grade exams and calculates grade. Operates a microfiche reader frequently in order to provide documents to be used by students in certain test situations. Operates video recorder cameras to record student activity in the test room. Refers to supervisor’s information concerning any students suspected of cheating during examination. Refers any major equipment malfunctions, disciplinary problems, and test content errors to appropriate personnel. Solves routine questions concerning exams or procedures. Ensures that an atmosphere conducive to testing is maintained, as well as maintaining an accurate historical record of each student's progress through logs and records. Ensures that only a limited number of students are scheduled to take exams and therefore determines the time and date when a student may be tested. Updates record keeping systems. May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
A High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Two years of experience in testing procedures, record keeping, and the use of various audiovisual apparatus, such as video tape recorder and microfiche reader
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
