Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating excavators for various construction and earthmoving tasks. While proficiency with GPS technology is preferred, it is not required. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
ResponsibilitiesOperate excavators to perform digging, trenching, and earthmoving tasks according to project specifications.Interpret and follow construction plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.Collaborate with project managers, surveyors, and other team members to achieve project goals.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Essential SkillsProven experience as an excavator operator.Familiarity with GPS technology is preferred but not required.Strong understanding of construction plans and blueprints.Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Valid driver's license and any required certifications.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with skid steers, backhoes, and track hoes.General labor experience on construction sites.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role is full-time on a construction site. Operators will work with heavy machinery and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the efficient completion of tasks.
