As a Exception Control Manage within Consumer Banking, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development, production, transformation, and delivery of data essential for Quality and Control management within Customer Service and Card Lending Services. You will leverage user tools and workflows to process incoming data, ensuring its seamless integration into defined queue management systems. This position requires collaboration with business units to build standard solutions, manage projects, and ensure processes are managed within business SLAs for optimal end-to-end results. You will also serve as a lead developer, guiding and mentoring junior team members. **Job responsibilities:** + Lead and manage data and control management projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals. + Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to meet business objectives. + Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution. + Facilitate the collection and documentation of the Inventory and Request Management (IRM) process by engaging with report developers and business leads to define and document report requirements. + Ensure the completion and accuracy of Business Requirement Documents and other project documentation. + Oversee the Reporting and Analytics testing process, collaborating with requestors to complete necessary forms for closing out reporting development and implementation across Auto, Card, Retail, Digital, and Lending Services. + Manage the requirements and implementation of reporting/processes, performing data mapping from source systems. + Build data views and extracts, preparing data for user consumption, and automate manual processes. + Support partnerships with key stakeholders and develop and maintain effective working relationships with operational leaders and partners, both internal and external to Lending Services. + Serve as a lead developer, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment. + Create ad hoc and production data reports, ensuring all documentation is updated on data files. **Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:** + Proven experience in managing complex projects, with strong organizational and leadership skills. + Ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and deliver results on time. + Verify the correctness and completeness of work through multiple reviews and validation with relevant stakeholders or data sources. + Ability to analyze data and communicate meaningful insights to leaders, delivering analytical solutions with a focus on practical, actionable business recommendations. + Knowledge of SQL programming and relational database design, with experience in Visual Basic and Access databases. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. + Proficient in handling and prioritizing multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously. + Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint. + Experience with Card/Lending platforms such as C3 (TSYS/Greenscreen) and ACAPS. + Experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau, SAS, and Alteryx is a plus. + Self-starter, extremely organized, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
