SWBC is seeking a talented individual to underwrite all Excess Flood policies and monitor aggregate limits.

While using your attention to detail ability, you will work with insurance agents & brokers and carriers to verify information, improving your customer service skills. Your day will look a little different each day as you will work in a variety of work functions. You will monitor aggregate coverage limits and evaluate all new business quote submissions and provide quotes as appropriate. All the processes lend to helping you become a subject matter expert in Excess Flood while helping to protect the interests of SWBC and its clients.
Essential duties include the following:
Evaluates all Excess Flood quote submissions and provides quotes as appropriate.Processes all renewal Excess Flood quotes in advance of policy renewal dates and forward to independent provider agents.Verifies agent property-casualty or surplus lines licensing.Monitors Excess Flood coverage aggregates, coverage limit aggregate, flood zone aggregate, and Excess Flood premium regularly to comply with Excess binding authority.Processes agent billing and monitors to ensure timely payments.Maintains all Excess Flood policy files.Evaluates all NPC and CBRS quote submissions and provides quotes as appropriate.Performs NPC and CBRS policy setup on system and monthly Bordereaux reporting.Evaluates and submits requests for open market quotes and forward quotes to agents.Reviews and approves all open market debit notes, cover notes and policies prior to release.Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent work experience.At least five (5) years P&C insurance, customer service, or related experience.Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets. Must be able to work independently.Possess P&C Insurance license.Lifting 10-20 lbs. of files and/or boxes.SWBC offers*:
