The Exchange/Reman. Parts Analyst is responsible for analyzing and supporting Machine Division Parts Exchange/Reman Coordinators and point of contact for all divisions regarding resolving Reman core issues and recommending additions/reductions in exchange stock inventories. Other duties include creating and maintaining work order prototypes for exchange, reviewing work order rebuilds for correct billing, processing reports for Finance regarding reconciling Reman and Exchange inventories and maintaining DBSI core tracking records. Will also train Coordinators and other employees on core tracking, CMIS 2 and purchasing new inventory from internal sources/Caterpillar on Antares to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. Assist with customer’s requests for bids, quotes, or scheduling of exchange components for their rebuilds.

Essential Functions:
Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission Support daily operations and policies and procedures regarding the Parts Exchange/Reman Process; Analyze and resolve Reman core issues and recommend additions/deletions in exchange stock inventories Trains and supports Holt CAT Exchange/Reman Coordinators and other parts personnel on the proper usage of DBSI/CMIS 2/ANTARES functions and new releases to increase department productivity and customer satisfaction Review exchange work orders to evaluate variances and cost; Coordinate with service department personnel to schedule component completion based on sales and current inventory levels Create and review revised prototype work orders for correct billing and to allow for consistency and uniformity throughout the company which will result in the formulation of price masters and control of rebuild costs; Make appropriate revisions to pricing Process reports and review with Finance the reconciliation of Reman and Exchange inventories and maintain DBSI core tracking records to ensure appropriate return on investment Coordinate with appropriate HOLTCAT sales representatives to review planned component replacements schedules and coordinate the flow of components thru the reconditioning process to meet these schedules Maintain exchange rebuilds for freight reduction guidelines and core tracking reconciling reports to ensure Holt Cat R.O.I. (Return on Investment) Support Exchange/Reman. System Parts Managers on special projects as needed for the benefit of department operations Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Three to five years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required Ability to operate a forklift is required
