Your role and responsibilitiesThis is an Excitation Lead role for United Arab Emirates reporting to MEA Excitation sales Manager. You will be primarily responsible for planning and ensuring implementation of Excitation strategy, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for systems, products and services in a profitable way. Responsible for leading the Sales organization of Excitation Business in allocated re-gion proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.The role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.The work model for the role is onsite.You will mainly be accountable for:• Owning and managing the ABB EXC Install Base, assuring the database cleanup, alignment and update. •\tIdentifying the excitation White Spot and business potential, supporting the local units in list-ing the priority of the sites to be addressed, track, support and assure the local unit reach the target KPI for the related initiative. •\tIncreasing the market penetration with the Generator IB analysis to attack competition, lever-aging the existing ABB Automation IB as value add. •\tDriving improvement in sales through the special initiatives, attending the rollout meeting and organize the internal meeting.•\tBe the point of reference for the local units for any clarifications and support. •\tMonitoring of the overall sales pipeline with periodic report and identification of outside business in the HUB. •\tParticipating proactively to the periodic sales calls. •\tSupporting the local units in the sales process, including technical solution and market price.•\tOverview and monitoring of the overall sales pipeline with periodic report and identification of outside business in the HUB. •\tParticipating proactively to the periodic sales calls from HUB/Local. •\tSupporting the local units in the sales process, including technical solution and market price. •\tAttending the webinar to get update with all new initiative, rules, reporting methodology and anything else need to be addressed to grant a successful business. •\tDriving day to day service safety and integrity and implements Group initiatives in order to embed a culture of health and safety and integrity across the organization.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree preferably in electrical, power electronics or equivalent experience. Requires 5+ years of experience in marketing & sales of solution & service in power generation utili-ties. Experience of sales in power generation or EXs projects Required previous experience of EXS business.Excellent written and verbal presentation skills are required. Should be fluent in English comprehension and writing. Willing to travel across the allocated region countries.
