Job Description SummaryThe Executive, Sourcing Functional Center of Excellence will lead a global team that owns Process & Technology, Compliance, Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, Middle and Back-Office Support, and Supplier Management for GE HealthCare’s nearly $10B of direct and indirect spend. This individual will report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, sit on the Sourcing & Supplier, Quality, and Development Leadership Team, and manage a team of 120 people.

Job Description

The Executive, Sourcing Functional Center of Excellence will lead a global team that owns Process & Technology, Compliance, Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, Middle and Back-Office Support, and Supplier Management for GE HealthCare’s nearly $10B of direct and indirect spend. This individual will report directly to the Chief Procurement Officer, sit on the Sourcing & Supplier, Quality, and Development Leadership Team, and manage a team of 120 people.

 

Key responsibilities include:

·       Designing and executing the launch of a new process for managing middle and back-office support to the Sourcing function.

·       Owning the Source to Settle process and all associated processes and technology

·       Creating and executing the Sourcing function technology roadmap including how the function will test and deploy Artificial Intelligence.

·       Driving the Lean strategy and execution of continuous improvement across Sourcing

·       Building the vision and execution of the strategy for the Sourcing function

·       Creating and executing the Citizenship strategy for the company including Sustainability in partnership with EHS and Supplier Diversity.

·       Owning global Sourcing training strategy and deployment. 

·       Leading a large team of internal employees and outsourced resources.

·       Overseeing the Supplier Management Program including the supplier segmentation, program execution, broad supplier communications, and supplier roundtables.

·       Owning the Sourcing bowlers and operational metrics/dashboards.

·       Serving as the Chief of Staff for the Chief Procurement Officer including the facilitation of all Sourcing Leadership Team meetings.

 

Quality Specific Goals:

·       Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

·       Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

·       Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Finance

·       Minimum 15 years Sourcing (Procurement), Supplier Management, or operations experience

·       Experience with Middle and Back Office Procurement support

·       Citizenship experience including Sustainability and Supplier Diversity

·       Extensive people leadership experience

·       Strong communications across all levels of the organization with a customer oriented/servant-leadership mindset

·       Strong project management skills and experience leading teams with broad priorities

·       Experience managing global supplier relationships

·       Proven experience showcasing clear thinking, the ability to establish and execute a strategy/vision, strong influencing across functions, and the ability to connect the dots across multiple areas within and across functions

·       This position is to be based in the US, in the central or eastern time zone

·       Required travel up to 15%

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $224,000.00-$336,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
