ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The vendor content department is responsible for driving business growth by aligning best-in-class vendor content processes, which start from the moment a vendor joins our marketplace and continues through their journey with us. The team acts as a custodian of our content guidelines and ensures the health of our marketplace by managing the content the vendors add to their storefronts during their entire journey. The team drives this internally through our processes and by collaborating with all vendor-facing teams. This role is a great mix of content writing and content operations, and as our marketplace develops, we are committed to driving long-term business growth and continuing to elevate the quality of content that powers our success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Writing storefront descriptions and footer texts for our category/listing landing pages and refreshing dated landing pages Monitoring the content of listing pages and responding to user-contributed website content. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO guidelines to increase web traffic. Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies. Collaborating with Global counterparts and local vendor-facing teams to drive content improvement projects Solving JIRA tickets that are raised by internal team members requiring assistance and support from the department Content Research on various wedding trends and competition analysis to ensure our content is fresh and relevant Share Internal Team updates and guidelines with the vendor-facing teams to aid in vendor education and consumer insight

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:

Educational Qualification:  Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mass Communication, English, or a related field Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience with copywriting or content writing Have an experience of working in a cross-functional content team and a proven record of team collaboration Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Prior SEO knowledge and experience working with marketplaces would be preferred Research-oriented with a knack for reading wedding/lifestyle/fashion/travel content
