We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with effective communication and organizational skills to support our CEO, CFO, and others on our executive team along with our Board of Directors to assist them in enabling Daktronics success. You must have the ability to effectively engage with all types of audiences with a high level of finesse, diplomacy, and professionalism. This work requires a high level of discretion and handling of confidential information. What would I do? You will manage the flow and exchange of information and develop sound administrative strategies that promote excellence. You will be required to always present yourself in a highly professional manner and communicate in a friendly and helpful manner to a diverse range of individuals at all levels of the company and with stakeholders of the organization. Daily tasks to support our executives may include: + Administrative support through email management, calendar and SharePoint sites/Teams management, preparation of correspondence, presentations, and spreadsheets in addition to being the gatekeeper for calls and meetings, and any other support as needed. + Coordinate the scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation for board meetings. + Schedule, coordinate and support all details of quarterly conference calls, community functions, investor meetings, and annual shareholder meetings. + Facilitate communication between the board of directors, shareholders, and senior management, acting as a liaison to ensure information is accurately and promptly shared. + Work on projects including financial reports/forecasts, board reports, and management of policies or source documents. + Maintain corporate documents and governance records such as board minutes, articles of incorporation, company policies, state annual registrations, business licenses, entity registrations, and contracts. + Assist with SEC filings, press releases, investor administration, monthly financial reporting publications, etc. + Book travel arrangements and submit and reconcile expense reports. + Companywide events planning, support, coordination, and scheduling, including logistics, speakers, audio/visual technology and facility support, presentations, travel arrangements, and other accommodations. + Demonstrate technical aptitude to research, learn and recommend new technologies. + Provide backup support to other team members as needed. Where will I work? Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from U.S. home or campus locations. While most of the work for this role can be completed from a home office, there will be a need for you to be on the Brookings, SD campus regularly. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree is required in a business-related field along with experience in working with corporate leadership teams. In addition, you will also need to demonstrate experience in the areas listed below: + Ability to communicate effectively with team members and business teams via various methods. Excellent written and oral communication, as well as the ability to represent the executives in a professional and responsible manner internally and in public. + Establishes and maintain effective relationships. + Proactively anticipate needs and provide services that are beyond expectations. + Exhibit a high capability in attention to details, organizing, resourcefulness, and the ability to pass along necessary information or resources and bring projects to closure without much direction. + Must be self-directed and work to achieve objectives with little oversight. + Must be a continuous learner and problem-solver as it relates to requirements of the position. + Must be trustworthy and reliable and able to deal appropriately with confidential information. + Highly skilled in Microsoft Office software (SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook, Reporting Services). + Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. Motor vehicle records will be checked.
