What you will do
In this role, you will provide specialized and advanced administrative support, of both routine and confidential in nature, to the Vice President/General Manager for Acute Care within Medical, and his leadership team. The responsibilities require independent judgment, initiative, and executive intuition in supporting the needs of an executive and team. This position requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the often-conflicting needs of employees, management, and the business. Prioritizing, scheduling, implementing all tasks with a sense of urgency, meeting timelines, and deliverables are key to success while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and ethics. Additional responsibilities may require you to:
Manage appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and assisting with travel arrangements.Manage receipts and expense reports in Concur as a delegate.Facilitate leadership meetings including calendar invites/attendee list, agenda, meeting minutes, and action items.Assist with preparation of reports and presentations; schedule, organize, and coordinate quarterly town halls.Assist with general administrative tasks including but not limited to travel arrangements; catering requests; meeting preparation, logistics & facilitation; and site-wide communication (email, flyers, posters, etc.).Schedule, coordinate and document the monthly leader broadcast. Coordinate logistics, and prepare for, welcoming and hosting internal Stryker visitors/guests; coordinate facility tours for internal (Stryker employees) and external groups.Develop and manage employee recognition systems.Assist planning, organizing and facilitating annual STAR awards.Compile and distribute monthly engagement newsletter.Be an active member of the Activities Committee taking a primary role in executing site events; support the committee chair by developing sustainable, repeatable processes/checklists for events.What you need:
