Roles and Responsibilities
Lead commodity Sourcing with accountability over direct/indirect buy, and cost reduction targetsDevelop, communicate and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, supplier development and global supply base management.Influence and partner in the development of qualified suppliers who deliver quality hardware, on time, at cost for the commodity.Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance; escalate issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective action when improvement is requiredDeliver against annual cost out targets and drive results to continually and systematically reduce costs and while ensuring no disruption to service levelsEnsure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirementsExecute Supplier Relationship Management strategies in order to build long-term relationships with suppliers to provide mutual beneficial relationship to drive stable operationsPartner across internal supply chain, product lines, and engineering to proactively mitigate risksPartner with Supplier Quality to drive quality initiatives for SourcingResponsible for people management activities for the organization including recruiting, performance management, compensation, and organizational structureContribute to evaluation of suppliers’ capabilitiesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or collegeAt least 8 additional years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain Forecasting/Planning, Supply Chain Operations, or Commercial/SalesWillingness and ability to travel 30% of the timeDesired Characteristics
