The Executive Assistant of Consumer Insights (CI) is a key role within the centralized CI Core Group, a respected team focused on elevating the quality, efficiency, accessibility, and innovation of the CI team to a world-class standard. In this role, you will be directly partnered with the CI Vice President to provide dedicated, day-to-day administrative support (eg. managing complex calendars, managing travel plans & associated expenses, drafting & editing key emails, agendas & decks, note taking, etc). Beyond this, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and coordination of the whole CI team – leading efforts to improve team member journey and experience, and streamlining CI’s rhythm of business by defining and optimizing cadence of onsites/offsites, department comms, meetings, and strategy at both the team level and in direct support of Directors & VP.
A successful candidate is a professional & savvy communicator, is interested in developing their business acumen, highly detail-oriented, with the ability to make mature judgment calls and operate with strong initiative. Prior experience as an Executive Assistant in a fluid, fast-paced environment is a must. This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA or Los Gatos, CA in-office on a hybrid schedule.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively manages calendar, travel, and expenses for VP
Coordinates travel arrangements, prepares detailed itineraries and processes expense reports
Schedules complex and high-visibility meetings and calls, internally & externally
Schedules and prioritizes meetings based on an understanding of business context, stakeholders, and urgency
Proactively manages long-term calendaring beyond day-to-day requests
Prioritizes and responds on the executive’s behalf with minimal direction
Plans and executes high-impact or large-scale team events, including all hands, town halls, and offsites; provides day of support
Arrange and prioritize meetings against target dates, accounting for required work-back scheduling
Manages meeting agendas & notes, tracks action items and follow-up tasks with individuals
Partners closely with the organization’s HR partners and cross-functional teams to identify issues and solutions affecting the morale and cultural health of the organization
Develops a buttoned-up process and coordinated comms for recurring CI activities & personnel processes, with a focus on those that benefit from centralized coordination
Creates presentations and documents using Google Workspace
Acts as the primary point of contact for internal space planning partners
Executes on special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing multiple executive calendars in Google suite
Proficiency in Google Workspace: Gmail, GCalendar, Docs, Sheets, Groups, etc
Proficiency in Slack: Direct & group messages, automations, etc
Tech-savvy
Strong writing and editing skills
Excellent attention to detail
Responsive and able to work flexibly across multiple time zones
Able to stay calm under pressure, work on short deadlines and juggle multiple requests
Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects, and comfortably switch between tasks
Independent worker, with strong judgment and ability to make decisions independently and quickly
Solutions-oriented attitude when presented with a complex situation that requires creative thinking
Discreet and able to maintain confidential information

These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location.
The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $55,000 - $240,000. This market range is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary), which is in line with our compensation philosophy.
