SummaryWe are recruiting for an Executive Assistant, Legal Department. Our growing legal department is seeking to add an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, comfortable supporting a team, skilled at managing competing priorities, and will have a minimum of 8 years’ prior experience providing administrative support in a corporate legal setting or similar, transferable experience. This role reports to the Senior Legal Operations Manager at Perdue and will work with all members of the legal department in various functional areas.
This position has a target wage of $32.00 - $48.00 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Consult with the Senior Legal Operations Manager to prioritize and meet department administrative needs as assigned by manager, attorneys, and paralegals. Log all inbound legal correspondence and route to appropriate team member for handling. Maintain clear, organized files. Printing, copying, faxing, scanning, preparing mail or packages for shipping. Manage calendars, schedule meetings, book travel, complete and submit T&Es. Draft and proofread legal correspondence, such as cover letters, emails, or memos. Assist in drafting and deploying basic template-based agreements, such as NDAs Serve as the super user and administrator for department E-Billing and Matter Management systems and provide back-up administrator support for other department legal technology solutions. Minimum Education and Experience RequiredEducation: High School Diploma required.
Experience: Minimum 8 years’ experience as an administrative assistant in a corporate legal department or law firm. Experience working with E-Billing or Matter Management software a plus.
Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Quick to learn new software and must be able to routinely navigate multiple software platforms. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
