We’ve established four Legal Powerhouses in Bangalore, Mexico City, Barcelona and São Paulo, which will be an integral part of the Legal Function and provide defined, structured services to our other lawyers and to the wider business.

We’re looking for an experienced executive assistant in Mexico City to support the Global Head of Litigation and Business Integrity (US-based), as well as one or more of his direct reports.  As the Litigation and Business Integrity (LBI) Legal Executive Assistant, you will play a vital role in the management of the LBI agenda, ensuring the smooth operation of this team.   

Where this position fits-into the team:

Part of the Unilever Legal Powerhouse – a team we’re currently building, which consists of around 20 colleagues in Mexico City

Integral part of the Unilever’s Legal Function - a global operation consisting of approximately 500 lawyers and specialists

Provides specific support to the Global Litigation and Business Integrity Group which comprises the following teams: Litigation, Business Integrity, Privacy and Competition. This Group operates as part of the corporate center, helping ensure that Unilever always does the right thing, in full compliance with all applicable laws.

 

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE 

Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, travel arrangements and expense reports, and act as a point of contact with other internal/external stakeholders

Planning & coordination of team meetings, events and activities

Project management for team-wide workstreams, development of tracking systems and internal Sharepoints to host resources

Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, power point presentations as requested

Coordinate and attend meetings, taking accurate minutes and following up on action points

Handle confidential and sensitive information with professional discretion

Organize and prioritize tasks, ensuring deadlines are met successfully

Provide administrative support to other members of the team or squads as needed.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED 

 

Experiences & Qualifications 

3 - 5 years' experience as a Legal Administration Assistant, Personal Assistant, Project Management or similar role

Bachelor's degree in business administration, legal studies, or related field preferred

Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience working with Artificial Intelligence tools (i.e. MS Co-pilot) a plus

Skills  

Excellent business English, with strong oral and written communication skills

Highly reliable and organized with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment 

Willingness and drive for organization and process excellence 

Strong interpersonal skills and highly team-oriented.  Agility, resilience, and a good sense of humor are also important qualities.
